A boy finds a strange creature on a beach, and decides to find a home for it in a world where everyone believes there are far more important things to pay attention to.
Academy Award®- winning 15 min short film adaptation of Shaun Tan’s acclaimed picture book.
The film was financed by Passion Pictures and Screen Australia and was produced by Passion Australia (now Highly Spirited) out of the Melbourne based studio. It marked Shaun’s directorial debut and was co-directed by Passion UK founder, Andrew Ruhemann.
